The prize was awarded to the best dance band of the year when the dance band week was inaugurated in Malung on Sunday.
The song of the year became "A real Volvo epa" by Trond Korsmoe, Anders Tegnér and Larz-Kristerz. The orchestra leader Ingmar Nordström, active in the industry since the 1950s, received the honorary prize of the year.
The dance band prize Guldklaven is awarded in nine categories.
Band of the year: Donnez
Song of the year: "A real Volvo epa"
Vocalists of the year: Kenny Samuelsson and Kjetil Granli, Streaplers
Album of the year: Old new borrowed & blue, Allstars
Musician of the year: Lars ”Lunkan” Lundgren, Perikles
Jury's special prize: Perikles
Jury's honorary prize: Ingmar Nordström
Newcomer of the year: Ankies
Arranger of the year: Sägnernas Hus
