A teenage girl is being prosecuted for preparation to murder in Härjedalen, local media reports.
The drama occurred at the beginning of last year. The girl was armed with a meat cleaver and a knife when she entered a room where a relative was sleeping. According to the prosecutor, the intention was to kill the person.
The girl was stopped by other people who were present at the scene. In connection with her being overpowered, she assaulted two men.
In addition to preparation to murder, the girl, who denies the crime, is also being prosecuted for gross unlawful threats and assault.
