Five people have been arrested suspected of terrorist crimes in Finland, reports Hufvudstadsbladet.

They are reported to have been arrested at the beginning of the week. The police are requesting that they be detained.

One of the five is suspected by the police of having "publicly incited" to terrorist crimes.

The police suspect that the man based in Finland has driven his endeavors with means that have led to violence against civilians and authorities as well as to other crimes in southeastern Nigeria. The man has carried out this activity, among other things, in his channels on social media, says the investigation leader, Detective Superintendent Otto Hiltunen at the Central Criminal Police, to Hufvudstadsbladet.

The other four are suspected of financing terrorist crimes, the newspaper writes.
