A 65-year-old man suspected of drowning his friend, a 70-year-old man, on international waters off the northern archipelago of Gothenburg is to be extradited to Germany, reports Gothenburg-Posten.
On August 1, the two German citizens were on their way home from a sailing competition in Norway. A fight allegedly broke out and both ended up in the water. The friend was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
A few days later, the man was arrested in Sweden, suspected of murder.
