Something has exploded in a gate to a multi-family house in Tumba, southwest of Stockholm. A suspected perpetrator, a teenage boy, has been arrested in connection with the police operation.

The National Bomb Squad and police technicians will investigate the cordoned-off area.

No one has been injured, according to the police. However, there is damage to the property.

Windows have shattered, but I don't know what it looks like otherwise, says police spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl.

Several people alerted the authorities about a loud bang in the area at 21:47 on Monday.

The incident is classified as reckless endangerment and a violation of the law on flammable and explosive goods.
