The material will arrive next week and then we'll get started, at a slow pace until the summer but then we'll increase production, says Klas Lundgren, CEO of T-Engineering, to TT.

The company has initiated a collaboration with the British vehicle manufacturer AC Cars. Exclusive handmade cars – the AC Cobra GT Roadster and GT Coupe models – will be assembled at T-Engineering's facility in Stallbacka, reports TTELA.

The agreement also includes certain engineering work to support the development of AC Cars' future models.

AC Cars expects to annually produce around 250 cars each of the two models.

Initially, the establishment will contribute to around 35 new jobs in the spring, which can increase over time.

The Chairman of the Municipal Council, Peter Eriksson (The Moderate Party), is delighted that AC Cars will start manufacturing cars in Trollhättan.

It's great that they see the enormous competence within the automotive industry in Trollhättan. It's truly a strength and I'm also glad that we've managed to put together the puzzle that means the test track can be used again, which is an important part of this, says Eriksson to TTELA.
