The American independence observer of Ericsson's rule compliance ends its mandate, writes the telecommunications giant in a press release.
The observer's review was initiated in the wake of Ericsson's numerous suspected cases of corruption crimes, which also resulted in multibillion-dollar fines for the US authorities.
"This is a significant milestone on the journey to improve our organization. Over the past four years, we have implemented key requirements and processes for regulatory compliance," writes CEO Börje Ekholm in a comment.
