Ericsson is making several changes in its top management. The head of the largest business area Networks, Fredrik Jejdling, will step down. The new head will be Per Narvinger. The change will take place on March 15.
"We have now jointly come to the conclusion that it is a good time for a change in the group management. As a result, Fredrik will leave Ericsson to take on new challenges", says CEO Börje Ekholm in a press release.
Narvinger is currently the head of the Cloud Software and Services business area. Jenny Lindqvist will take over that role. She is currently the head of Ericsson's European operations.
At the same time, Ericsson is merging some of its market areas.
