The risk capital company EQT, owned by the Wallenberg sphere, has agreed to buy the Dublin-based game developer Keywords Studios, with games such as Fortnite, Call of Duty, and Baldur's Gate 3 in its portfolio.
The price tag will be £24.50 per share or a total of £2.1 billion, equivalent to 28 billion kronor, writes EQT in a press release. This is slightly lower than the price EQT offered the owners in May of £25.50 per share.
The board of Keywords has unanimously recommended that the owners accept the bid.
Keywords, listed on the London Stock Exchange, reported revenues of €780 million last year and a profit before tax of €35 million.
