Sweden's victory in the European Championship qualifying was important.
The meeting with Marika Domanski Lyfors after the final whistle was more important.
The European Championship qualifying round was the first since the announcement that Marika Domanski Lyfors had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor.
During Monday's 1-0 home win against Ireland, the national team coach was on the stands at Friends Arena, and after the match, it was an emotional meeting with the players on the field.
Marika Domanski Lyfors has been the national team coach since 2008. She was also the national team coach for the women's team from 1995 to 2005 and led Sweden to European Championship silver in 2001 and World Championship silver in 2003.
Before the match, the Swedish team wore jerseys with the text "We are with you Marika" and several players have told how much Domanski Lyfors means to them.
It therefore meant a lot to celebrate the victory together, says Rolfö.
