New local dietary advice is being introduced regarding fish from parts of the Ronnebyån in Blekinge. Due to elevated PFAS levels, fish caught there should not be eaten, reports SVT News Blekinge.
The measurements were taken in November in collaboration between the municipality and the county administrative board. At a press conference, the municipality announces that fish caught below the Brantafors power plant should not be eaten and that fish caught there should be released back into the water.
