The e-commerce group Ellos Group is in an economic crisis, reports Borås Tidning.

The group, which has its headquarters in Borås and includes brands such as Ellos and Jotex, is currently in negotiations regarding a debt of 1.5 billion kronor since a bond matured during the summer.

According to the financial manager Johan Stigson, work on trying to find long-term financing has been ongoing for a longer period.

"Our assessment is that the situation will not affect Ellos Group's employees in Borås or on other markets, nor our suppliers or business relationships," he writes in an email to the newspaper.
