Traffic on the E4 was closed north of Huskvarna in both directions after a lorry accident on Monday.
Earlier, it was said that the stretch would open at 5 am on Tuesday morning. During the evening, the Swedish Transport Administration announced that the stretch could open again as early as 8:30 pm on Monday.
A lorry drove into the central barrier at 3 pm. The vehicle became suspended over the central barrier, which led to major traffic disruptions.
The lorry driver was not injured in the accident.
