Doctors Without Borders are discontinuing their operations in Haiti's capital Port-au-Prince after the city was shaken by violent clashes.
"A series of threats from the Haitian police force against Doctors Without Borders' staff is forcing the organization to discontinue its operations in Port-au-Prince for the time being", the organization writes in a press release.
Criminal gangs control around 80 percent of Port-au-Prince and are undermining the central authority with violence in large parts of Haiti.
