Djurgården dropped the win against IFK Norrköping

The football striker Mimmi Larsson continues to score goals for Djurgården. The summer acquisition started the goal-scoring at home against IFK Norrköping, but it wasn't enough for a win. The Östgötskorna equalized to 2–2 in stoppage time.

The Norwegian Sara Kanutte Fornes saved a point at Stockholm's stadium. In the fourth added minute, she sent in the 2-2 ball behind Elvira Björklund in the Djurgården goal.

They started to drag out the time with eight minutes left, then I felt that they were afraid of what we had to come with. Then we get a good counter and score a goal. So it was extra nice, says Kanutte Fornes to Viaplay.

The experienced striker Mimmi Larsson was recruited to Djurgården last summer and in the previous round against Linköping (5-2 win) the 30-year-old scored her first two goals for her new club.

Against Norrköping came goal number three. Djurgården showed off a fine combination play before Larsson in deep could send in the leading goal.

The goal came in the 24th minute – five minutes later Therese Åsland extended to 2-0 on a penalty. Wilma Leidhammar reduced to 2-1 on a header after a rebound in the opening of the second half, but Djurgården seemed to hold on to three points. Then Sara Kanutte Fornes stepped forward and set 2-2 – her tenth goal for the season.

In the final stage, Matilda Plan had a ball in goal for Djurgården, but she was called offside by a narrow margin.

Norrköping is fifth in the table with 31 points. One position ahead of Djurgården, which has 26 points.
