A school employee in Malmö who was dismissed and bought out after being involved in a hooligan fight has managed to get a job at a new school in Malmö again – before serving the sentence, reports SVT News Skåne.
The man was sentenced to four months in prison for assault and violent riot. He received seven months' salary in compensation when he left the first school after an agreement with the municipality.
That he was then re-employed at another school is explained by education chief Richard Mortenlind as the prevailing policy not being followed. The principal of the school the man was forced to leave was never contacted. After SVT's questions, the man has been dismissed again and the school will conduct an investigation.
