The 34-year-old man who attacked three girls with a knife in a residential area in Karlskrona in May is sentenced to forensic psychiatric care for aggravated assault and is to be deported from Sweden, reports BLT.
The district court acquits the man of two attempted murders. He is not allowed to return to Sweden for ten years.
The man, who has denied the crime, was charged with attempted murder of the girls, who were between 12 and 16 years old when the incident occurred. One of them was stabbed in the arm. The man has previously been assessed as seriously mentally disturbed at the time of the incident, according to BLT.
The man is also to pay damages of 122,000 kronor to the girl who was stabbed.
