On Wednesday, a private plane landed at Karlstad Airport. On board was none other than David Beckham. The superstar has come to Sweden to visit cancer patient Sven-Göran Eriksson, who was the national coach of the English football team during Beckham's prime time in the mid-2000s.
The 76-year-old "Svennis" has since he talked about his severe cancer illness been on a large farewell tour around the football world. Among other things, he led Liverpool in a friendly match and when he visited his former club Lazio earlier in the spring, he was greatly honored by both the supporters and the club.
