The Crown Princess Victoria has celebrated another birthday on Öland, this year the 47th in a row. Traditionally, the public had the opportunity to convey their congratulations outside Solliden Palace, and the visitors stood in multiple rows in the sunshine behind the barriers.
The entire royal family was present and posed for a summer-fine photo shoot outside the palace. Princess Madeleine and her husband and children, who recently moved back to Sweden, were also part of the celebration.
Then, the royals left Solliden by horse and carriage for the televised Victoria Concert at Borgholm Castle Ruin, where, among others, Molly Hammar, Albin Lee Meldau, and Lena Philipsson performed.
This year's Victoria Prize winner, volleyball player Isabelle Haak, also received her award from the Crown Princess's hand on stage.
