Crown Princess Victoria Honored and Awarded Volleyball Player
The Crown Princess Victoria has celebrated another birthday on Öland, this year the 47th in a row. Traditionally, the public had the opportunity to convey their congratulations outside Solliden Palace, and the visitors stood in multiple rows in the sunshine behind the barriers.
Orup kicked off the Victoria celebrations
The royal family is on vacation at Solliden on Öland and parts of the family took the opportunity on Thursday evening to sneak out through the castle gates to see Orup perform at Solliden Sessions. The outdoor stage is located at the castle's serving place Kaffetorpet and despite a bit chilly weather, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
Premiere for this year's "Sing-along at Skansen"
On Tuesday evening, this year's first "Sing-along at Skansen" (Allsång) began. The opening act consisted of a sing-along to the classic song "Cotton-eyed Joe".
Soon all singing on Skansen - without bags in the audience
This summer, it will be difficult to have a picnic in front of the Sollidenscenen. The police's bag ban also applies to song-hungry Skansen visitors.
They guest star on "Sing-along at Skansen"
Adaam, Miss Snusk and Tomas Ledin are some of those who will be guesting on this summer's "Allsång på Skansen". Despite a tough time privately, Pernilla Wahlgren is looking forward to leading the programme again.
Lena Ph and Albin Lee Meldau celebrate Victoria
It is now clear which artists will perform at Crown Princess Victoria's annual birthday celebration on Öland this summer. It will be Lena Philipsson, Molly Hammar, Albin Lee Meldau, Edda Magnasson and Olivia Lobato who will entertain the audience in Borgholm on 14 July.
