An employee at a Scanian treatment home for young people is convicted of a sexual assault against a child who was being cared for there. Afterwards, he tried to get the exposed teenager to refrain from reporting what had happened – therefore, he is also convicted of obstruction of justice.
The man has denied, but the assault is documented via surveillance camera, reports P4 Malmöhus. Lund District Court sentences him to eight months in prison. He has also been dismissed from his job.
