Carola: "I Don't Need to Apologize"

Carola Häggkvist brought eight suitcases and "some small bags" to the recording of the Norwegian equivalent of "Så mycket bättre". It's a "strong" and "hot" Swedish star who meets the Norwegian TV audience, she says herself.

I don't need to apologize for anything. I feel secure, I welcome life. Today I do what I want to do – and it gives me energy.

Carola is the first out in the new season of "Hver gang vi møtes", where artists such as Astrid S and Thomas Dybdahl also participate. Unlike the other participants, she has done this before – twice in the Swedish "Så mycket bättre".

I celebrated my 40th birthday and got really warm in my clothes. I thought I could offer a bit of myself to the Norwegians as well, which is why I accepted to participate.

In the episode, which airs on January 1st on TV2, her song "Allt kommer bli bra, mamma" is interpreted, among other things, which Carola wrote the day after her mother had passed away. The Swedish star was "completely broken" by Ina Wroldsen's unusual interpretation of her classic "Främling".
