British inflation rises

Inflation in the United Kingdom, according to the CPI measure, lands at 2.6 percent in annual terms in November.

It was in line with the analysts' forecast. The economists had counted on an annual price increase rate of exactly 2.6 percent, according to a compilation from the news agency Bloomberg.

In October, inflation was at 2.3 percent.
