The animated blockbuster "Inside Out 2" is attracting many to the cinemas.
During its premiere in the USA, the film took in the equivalent of more than 650 million kronor. It is now on track to surpass the "Dune" sequel as the highest-grossing film of the year during its opening weekend, writes Variety.
For the animation studio Pixar, this means a long-awaited comeback after struggling against the wind for a few years and owner Disney choosing to send more and more animated films directly to its streaming service without a cinema premiere, notes Variety.
The psychological comedy, which is a sequel to the 2015 original, has also been praised by critics. In the original, stars such as Amy Poehler and Maya Hawke provide the voices, while among others, Ulla Skoog and Per Andersson dub the film in Swedish.
