The situation in the industry remains weak. But there are bright spots and the trade organisation Teknikföretagen senses that the bottom is near or has already been reached, according to the new business cycle report.
The business situation for Teknikföretagen's members, comprising many large industrial companies, has stabilised, but at a low level. The order intake is still falling for all sub-sectors, but to a decreasing extent. More companies than before are reporting that they are running their production at full capacity.
The overall index for the technology industry is thus at approximately the same level during the second quarter as during the first.
