The board of mining and smelting company Boliden proposes that the regular dividend for 2024 be cancelled. This is because they want to reduce a previously proposed new share issue by a corresponding amount. The company announces this in connection with the year-end report.

At the same time, the company reports a profit of 3.8 billion kronor before tax for the fourth quarter of 2024. This can be compared to the profit of just over 2 billion kronor for the same period the previous year.

Analysts had on average expected a profit of 3.5 billion kronor, according to Bloomberg's compilation.

Revenue amounted to 25.8 billion kronor, compared to 20.8 billion kronor a year earlier.
