The work environment has improved, but economically, the County Administrative Board in Stockholm is still suffering from the aftermath of Anna Kinberg Batra as Governor.

The internal mapping of the work environment after Kinberg Batra was fired last autumn is now complete, writes the newspaper Arbetsvärlden.

It was a great relief for many employees when she left. We saw improvements immediately, says Ulrika Holmström, one of two union chairmen for the union ST, to the newspaper.

The mapping, carried out by an external actor, is based on interviews with 37 people at the authority, including managers. Not all assessments of Kinberg Batra as a manager are bad, but many are negative, including several in the management team.

And economically, Kinberg Batra's actions cost the authority a lot, including the severance pay for the county director whom she quickly got rid of.

It's something we're living with now and which has enormous consequences for our operations in certain areas of the organization where the authority risks not being able to fulfill its mission, says Ulrika Holmström.

Former Moderate Party leader Kinberg Batra was fired by the government for her questioned recruitments, which she received harsh criticism for, from among others the Parliamentary Ombudsman.
