A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Helsingborg.
The police were called to a residence just before 1 am on Thursday and found a man in his 30-40s with stab or slash wounds and a similarly aged woman who had been assaulted, according to the police on their website.
Both were taken to hospital by ambulance and shortly afterwards a suspected perpetrator, also in the same age group, who is known to the couple, was arrested.
The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into attempted murder and assault.
