The American artists Ashanti and Nelly have had a son together, writes LA Times.
"I have been waiting a long time to become a mother, but nothing could prepare me for everything that parenthood entails", wrote Ashanti on social media a couple of weeks after giving birth.
There, she also showed pictures of her post-pregnancy body in underwear, and wrote that she is proud of the body that gave her a baby.
The two artists dated on and off for eleven years before separating in 2013. They got back together in 2023, when they also got married. Nelly has two children from before.
