The app is used by staff at Komvux and upper secondary school in Örebro to, among other things, alert about events. The municipality confirms that it was used during the mass shooting on February 4, when ten people were shot to death by an identified perpetrator who then allegedly took his own life.
The municipality does not comment on exactly what the message said. It is unclear in this case whether the app improved or worsened the situation.
