The speedway star Antonio Lindbäck was missing when the elite series match between Smederna and Rospiggarna took place on Tuesday evening.

The reason is that Lindbäck, who drives for both Rospiggarna and Valsarna, is under investigation since he tested positive in a doping test.

He has tested positive in a doping test, but it's all about Antonio taking ADHD medication – like many other drivers. Which he has a dispensation for and which is not unusual when you drive 110 kilometers. It's just that some substance didn't match, and therefore he is now under investigation, says Valsarna's team leader Stewe Lennartsson to Värmlands Folkblad.

Valsarna announce that Lindbäck will be temporarily suspended while the investigation is ongoing. On Wednesday, Lindbäck was also deregistered from Rospiggarna's squad.

This is not a situation that anyone likes. We have had an incredibly good cooperation with Lindbäck as team captain. I have very difficulty believing that he has done this intentionally, says Lennartsson.
