For the third day in a short time, a boarding school in Kenya has burned down.
On Sunday, a dormitory for over 150 students in a boys' school in Meru in the eastern part of the country was destroyed.
The fire started when the students were in the dining hall. No fatalities have been reported, but "several" people have been injured.
In the night to Friday, at least 21 people died in a fire at Hillside Endarasha Primary boarding school in Nyeri, north of the capital Nairobi. In the dormitory where the fire occurred, there were over 150 boys between 9 and 13 years old.
Several people were injured in the fire and some children are still missing.
On Saturday, a fire also occurred in a girls' school, about 14 miles northeast of Nyeri. No fatalities have been reported.
President William Ruto has promised that those responsible for the school fires will be brought to justice.
