The police and rescue services were alerted about an explosion in Trosa on Tuesday evening, writes Södermanlands Nyheter.
The alarm about the incident came at 19.40.
It was some kind of detonation at a property, says the police's press spokesperson Olle Älveroth to TT.
There is no information about injured people and the material damage is not believed to be significant.
An area around the property was cordoned off and the police's technicians have been called to the scene.
The incident is being investigated as endangering others and vandalism.
