Airport closed after food triggered fire alarm

Oslo's airport Gardermoen was evacuated at half past nine on Friday evening after the fire alarm was triggered.

The reason was smoke from a microwave oven, writes Terje Nordang, operational police chief, in an incident report.

After just a few minutes, passengers were allowed to go back into the airport, report Norwegian media. However, all had to go through security checks again, writes VG.
