Jordan and the United Arab Emirates have together dropped 25 tons of emergency aid from the air over Gaza, according to Jordan's military. The emergency aid contains humanitarian assistance and food.
During the night, it was also reported that Israel has carried out a first aid shipment via air to Gaza, according to the newspaper The Times of Israel. When it has occurred previously, other countries have been responsible for the efforts.
The airborne aid shipments are taking place according to Israel in collaboration with aid organizations.
Egyptian state-owned Al-Qahera News writes on X that trucks have entered the Gaza Strip through the border crossing in Rafah.
Applies until further notice
The UN announces that they will try to reach as many people in need as possible, after Israel's announcement to establish safe land corridors that will enable safe transport for convoys from aid organizations.
The UN's food program (WFP) has sufficient food in the region or on its way, to feed 2.1 million people in Gaza, according to chief Tom Fletcher.
Israel's humanitarian pauses in the fighting will apply until further notice every day, from 10 am to 8 pm in the areas of Al-Mawasi, Dayr al-Balah, and Gaza City, the military writes in social media.
At the same time, they have emphasized that "combat operations have not ceased" in Gaza against terrorist-stamped Hamas.
Concern remains
Gaza residents welcome the aid. It gives some hope, but there is concern that it is not enough.
Aid convoy or a few dropped packages from the air is not enough. We need a real solution, an end to this nightmare, an end to the war, says Rasha al-Sheikh Khalil, a mother of four in Gaza City, to BBC.
Others are worried that the emergency food does not contain important nutrients.
We have not eaten a single fresh fruit or vegetable in four months. There is no chicken, no meat, no eggs. All we have is canned goods that are often expired, and flour, says Neveen Saleh, a mother of six.
