Train traffic between Gothenburg and Malmö is at a standstill since an accident occurred just south of Varberg.
Just before 10 am on Thursday morning, an accident occurred at an unguarded railway crossing in Apelviken, where a person is said to have been hit by the train.
The rescue service is on site, as well as an ambulance and the police.
According to the prognosis, traffic may resume as early as 12:00 pm, says Per Aronsson at the Swedish Transport Administration's press service.
