17-year-old charged with shooting in shopping centre

A 17-year-old boy is being prosecuted for a shooting in the Mirum shopping centre in the Hageby district of Norrköping at the beginning of March, reports Norrköpings Tidningar.

It was on the evening of 4 March that the police were alerted to the scene after loud bangs were heard inside the shopping centre. A 25-year-old man was found shot.

The 17-year-old was arrested the same evening.

According to the prosecutor, the 17-year-old had the intention of killing the man. The gunshot hit the man's left arm and chest, according to the indictment.

The boy is also being prosecuted for aggravated weapons offences and minor drug offences.

He denies attempted murder.
