Before Wednesday's European Championship semifinal between England and the Netherlands, there was unrest in Dortmund. A large fight broke out between supporters of both teams.
Initially, it was reported that five people were injured in connection with this. Now, the number has risen to seventeen.
Among these are seven police officers, says the Dortmund police on Thursday. Twenty-three Dutch and three English supporters were arrested but have now been released.
England won the European Championship semifinal with 2–1 and will face Spain in the final on Sunday.
