The 15-year-old girl who was convicted of murdering a 14-year-old girl in Landskrona will not appeal the verdict, according to her defense attorney for P4 Malmöhus.
She was sentenced to closed youth care for two years and two months.
The Lund District Court has concluded that two girls jointly murdered the 14-year-old. One of the guilty parties is only 13 years old and therefore not criminally responsible. The girls have denied the murder, but admitted to aggravated assault.
The 14-year-old girl had been subjected to very severe violence when she was found on an old goods yard in Landskrona on the night of July 23 last year.
