Highest electricity price in two years – now it's turning
It became the most expensive electricity week in the south since the weeks before Christmas two years ago. Now the electricity price is plummeting and much indicates that the price shock was temporary.

On Friday, the electricity price will drop significantly in the southern half of the country, compared to Wednesday and Thursday. The electricity price shock is over for now.
Over 8 kronor – electricity as expensive as during the crisis
On Thursday, the already sky-high electricity prices will increase further, to temporarily over 8 kronor per kWh in Svealand and Götaland. The electricity price is thus currently at the same sky-high level as during the energy crisis in 2022.

Lowest Electricity Price Since 2020 – Calm Winter Expected
