Large increase in suicide calls to SOS
In 2024, SOS Alarm received 24,800 calls where someone had thoughts of taking their own life. It is an avalanche-like increase and now the alarm center will investigate why. We want to understand how we can help this group better, says chief physician Fredrik Jonsson.
