personbevis

An extract from the population register that confirms facts such as your name, personnummer, address, civil status or family relations. Banks, foreign authorities, employers and embassies sometimes ask for one.

You can view and print a personbevis on Skatteverket's My Pages if you have e-identification, or order one to be sent by post. Ask the receiver exactly what it needs to show, since a personbevis can contain different details depending on what it is for.

A personbevis only shows what is in the register, which is another reason to keep your address and civil status up to date there.
