How to reach it: report a move to Sweden with the Moving to Sweden e-service (available in English) and then visit a service centre if asked to prove your identity. Address changes are made online.

Where people get stuck: you should only be registered if you plan to stay at least one year; shorter stays need a coordination number instead. Registration takes time, and almost everything else, from a bank account to healthcare, waits for the personnummer.
