Bearing manufacturer SKF reports an adjusted operating result of 2.8 billion kronor for the third quarter. This can be compared to the profit of 2.9 billion kronor for the same period last year.

Revenue fell to 23.7 billion, compared to 25.7 billion kronor a year earlier.

"During the third quarter, globally weak market conditions prevailed, which was also reflected in several leading external macro indicators. Our organic sales decreased by 4.4 percent, which was mainly due to weak demand in China and within the automotive business," the company writes in its report.
