The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) has issued a yellow warning for torrential rain and thunderstorms on Wednesday in parts of Västernorrland, Västerbotten, and Norrbotten.
The warning applies between 10 am and 11 pm in Norrbotten and parts of northern Västerbotten. At the same time, the warning applies between 3 am and 12 pm for eastern Västernorrland and parts of southern Västerbotten.
Between 30 to 60 millimeters of rain is expected, and there is a risk of flooding.
The SMHI warns that there may be large local variations in rainfall amounts.
