A man in his 45s has died in connection with diving in the Tuna Hästberg mine in Dalarna, writes Aftonbladet. The alarm about the accident came in at 19.30 on Sunday.

According to the police, the accident is believed to have been due to an illness, but they have, according to routine, initiated an investigation into causing another person's death to ensure that there was nothing wrong with the equipment.

The adventure mine in Tuna Hästberg is a popular tourist destination. According to the operations manager, it was a visitor to the mine who died.

The police will look at what may have happened. It's a hugely tragic event, says operations manager Daniel Karlsson, to Aftonbladet.
