Translating this to the number of individuals in Sweden, it's about approximately 1.4 million adults. It's obvious that it's a very large number of people affected by this violence, says Nicklas Källebring, opinion analyst at Ipsos, who has conducted the survey on behalf of the newspaper.

It's about, among other things, avoiding certain places, not being outdoors when it's dark, and being more careful about what their own children are allowed to do and which areas they are allowed to move around in, writes DN.

The survey includes responses from 1,399 eligible voters who have responded via digital questionnaires, SMS links, and digital interviews in a randomly recruited web panel, during the period of 4-16 February.
