The American presidential candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris' running mates, J D Vance and Tim Walz, have agreed to meet in a TV debate this autumn.
CBS News reports that they have been offered four possible dates for the vice presidential candidates. They have now both confirmed that they have accepted to participate on October 1.
The debate will thus take place a few weeks after the first planned TV clash between Trump and Harris, which will take place on September 10 under the auspices of ABC News.
