The Government has appointed a special envoy for Ukraine's reconstruction, business, and development.
The post is new and the appointed envoy Ulrik Tideström will, according to a press release, have close cooperation with the Ukrainian government, the EU, international financial institutions, the G7 countries, and other parties to support Ukraine's reconstruction.
"By appointing a special envoy, the Government increases Sweden's engagement and opportunity to contribute to Ukraine's reconstruction further", says Foreign Minister Tobias Billström (M).
Ulrik Tideström has, among other things, been ambassador in Georgia and Armenia.
