Two snowplow drivers have been injured in two separate accidents at the same location in Degerfors. The men have sustained injuries of a "serious nature", according to the police.
On Tuesday afternoon, a man in his 60s was injured while clearing snow. Suddenly, the plow drove into a part of a well that stuck out a little.
It came to a complete stop there, says police spokesperson Lars Hedelin.
The man was taken to hospital for care.
During the night, a similar accident occurred at the same location. This time, a man in his 35s was injured while clearing snow. He also required hospital care.
The police have filed two reports of bodily harm through workplace accidents to investigate whether anyone has breached workplace safety responsibilities.
